From Inverness, take the dual carriageway on the A9 North, over the Kessock Bridge, passing the local Tourist Information Centre, on your left, and taking the first exit on the left downhill into North Kessock village.
At the playpark, turn right, for Charleston and Redcastle and which has a tourism sign in brown, with the Anchor and Chain on the signpost.
Follow the road, west. through Charleston. The road begins to narrow but you will come to the hotel on your left, after two miles, situated on a small promontory with views in both directions, east and west, and across the Beauly Firth
